After my experience with an illness and discovering the science of nutritional immunology, I tried recalling how ignorant I was in my younger days. I started to understand why a disease could strike me. I have learnt that a disease does not happen overnight, it takes many months if not years to explode. When it does, it is an indicator that the immune system is already damaged to a very large extent.
I recollect the days I never drank water nor ate vegetables and fruits. I loved meat and all the unhealthy foods back in those days. I was often highly constipated, and experienced an indigestion feeling. I only had bowel movements every 2-3 days, and once it got so bad that my bowels held back all the food I ate for a week XD By the time it had to come out, I felt I was passing a huge, hard and rough rock through my a**. Man, it was so rough I had blood on them toilet paper. XD. Yes, it is highly atrocious and certainly the truth. And guess what? I didn’t even have a care about it. I was completely ignorant.
I was in my late teens back then. My lifestyle with minimal water and fiber went on for about a decade before I took a vow to change it after nutritional immunology came into my life. Armed with the common sense of this Science, I am subsequently in for many surprises on how I could help heal and maintain my body’s well being not only with E. Excel, but also from new approaches.
Let’s say if you are currently leading, or have some similar poor habits like my past, you may wish to identify if you fall into any of the following stages.... and hopefully not! :) I used to be between Stages 3 and 4. :D

Looking back, I believe upbringing is very important. I was never brought up in a family with decent health knowledge. I was never taught to drink water. I was hardly encouraged to eat vegetables and fruits.
The good news is, if you have been diligently looking after yourself at the moment compared to my past, you are definitely smarter than I am. If are willing to read up more new health knowledge today, you are way smarter and more fortunate ;)
Love your health and be proactive. It's never too late to make a change today if you are still feeling healthy, but don't be too late.
