Love your health and heart each day

Many people often forget to love themselves each day. At times we need someone to remind us. I sometimes forget myself too as I am only human =)

Health is wealth. It’s better to take little steps each day to make a difference instead of never. And when we regret it is too late.

Remember to:
  • Drink a minimum of 1.5L of water every day, better still purified or distilled water, to minimize the amount of toxins into our bodies. Our environment is too polluted these days compared to our grand parents’ days. If you don’t like water, add a slice of lemon in it. Not only it tastes refreshing, it also alkalizes our body.
  • Eat about 5-9 servings of variety of fruits and/ or vegetables every day. A serving is like a size of our fist. Variety here means different types and colours. If you didn’t know, phytonutrients from different fruits and vegetables are never the same.
  • Go easy on alcohol, nicotine and caffeine. If you have a strong addiction, you will just have to try your best. =)
  • If you have a habit of sleeping past 12am, try sleeping half an hour earlier than usual and keep practicing at that until you can achieve a 10pm-11pm sleep time.
  • Smell the roses. Watch the sun rise. See the birds fly. Walk your dog if you have one. Hug your pet, love your pet. And also your loved ones.
  • Never let bad people or bad situation affect you. You deserve more happiness. Happiness comes from within, so try focusing on the good side of things in every bad situation. =)
  • Some office work can also wait, but remember your life and health keeps ticking away.

Remember to smile! It’s free but it’s always so difficult for many to give it away.

Learn to smile. Be happy. Learn to laugh. Your immune system appreciates it a great deal, in case you didn’t know. ;)
