Poor health is reversible
Ever since I discovered the Science, I have been on a journey in search of alternative safe, natural methods and remedies for my health. With an understanding of the concept of ‘protect, cleanse and repair’ from this Science, I have actually done some of the craziest things where many people have remained skeptical. I would categorise myself to have a chronic illness at one stage and below are some of the craziest things I have done to reverse my previously poor health condition. They are listed in specific order:
- Liver cleansing, which I first started in 2002
- Colon hydrotherapy (i.e. colonics), which I first started in 2005
- Drinking distilled water, which I first started in 2006
- Detoxifying my foods, which I first started in 2008
- Drinking ionized alkaline water, which I first started in 2010
- Using an air purifier, which I started in 2011
Sounds crazy enough? I shall later share each in more details on why and what made me choose the above methods, my experience and the important things to consider when one intends to try these techniques for a better health.
I will always remember Dr Chen’s words that our immune system is the best doctor in the world and that it is irreplaceable. I never knew this before, and I believe, nor thus the majority of the population. We should learn to understand that changes in our living environment (i.e. deteriorating air & water quality) and lifestyle quality (i.e. unhealthy diet & stress) for the last few decades are actually doing more harm than good to us.
Applying some common sense, we should learn not to place all the responsibilities on our own immune system either. If we can adopt and start practicing healthier methods and habits, it helps alleviate the burden on our immune system and hence reduces our risk of various allergies, getting ill too frequent and be disease-stricken.
My main reason to doing all the crazy things from the above is just that – to alleviate the 'historical' and everyday ‘stress’ that I have unknowingly placed on my immune system and body. It gives my body some ‘room’ to breathe and for recovery if the immune system has a need for it. I want to lead a healthier life for each day that passes and I honestly admit I have been achieving far better health compared to my younger years. And indeed, from the perspective of Nutritional Immunology, our immune system has an amazing ability to heal itself if we diligently and persistently take good care of it.
While our body still functions properly for now, we tend to assume that everything is alright. However, I can say that many people take their health for granted and it is quite scary not knowing what their bodies are consuming every day. The final break is when serious allergies/ illness strikes or when they get hospitalized and have to resort to numerous medications to mitigate their pain and underlying health issues. For some less fortunate, their health condition may be too serious to be reversible.
Bear in mind, medications do not address the root of all health problems. Practicing prevention regularly does. We have a choice to make a positive change, to relieve the stress on our immune system and to gain a better health. For starters, a proactive and more acceptable approach is to consider evaluating one’s diet. Good health actually starts from consuming healthy, wholesome and balanced nutrition on a daily basis.

Science of Nutritional Immunology saves another day
Evening of Friday 25/11, I noticed my little boy being way too inactive from his usual self. I took his temperature which was elevated at 37.3c which went up to 37.5c later that night.
Every time he is feverish, I will always combine Nutrifresh and Millenium for his consumption. Nutrifresh is crucial as it supplies him the necessary natural plant nutrients when he does not eat properly when ill, while Millenium on the other hand, accelerates his body recovery. These two products have proven to work repeatedly and never failed in our experience.
He skipped his dinner and went to bed as he lacked appetite. This time, I was worried not because of his fever but more so his last meal was lunch that day, and I coincidentally ran out of supply for Nutrifresh. This is one item I dread not having on my shelf when my kid falls ill. Historically, when he lacks appetite to eat, his body cannot properly digest solid foods and he throws up from indigestion. So if he gets sick, I am more worried if he does not receive enough nutrition than anything else.
I had to make do with just Millenium before he went to bed and monitored his temperature throughout the night. The next day he had some bread, milk and fruit juices after breakfast, but when all that soon came out as watery stools with a tummy cramp, I sensed potential foodborne illness (his last meal was a sandwich I bought him for lunch on Friday). I immediately eliminated milk, fruits and juices from his diet to not aggravate his situation.
His temperature hovered between 37.5c – 38.5c the whole day. Every time he hit 38.2c, I gave him cold showers (I will not do this if I sense it is an onset of cough and cold, and thinks it is not advisable too). While I fed him some fish congee for lunch and early dinner to supply him some solid food energy, he was not receiving it too well with low appetite.
I discovered a last precious packet of Nutrifresh hiding in my cabinet and was very fortunate to borrow a box of it from a friend. The entire day, apart from plenty of water, he was on generous amounts of Nutrifresh and Millenium as the basic foundation beverages to supply him the necessary nutrients. In view of his loose stools and stomach cramps, I also gave him Digeston that specifically aids to nourish and repair the digestive system. My friend actually wanted to gave him an extra supplement that comprises of mushrooms and cordyceps to boost his healing process. This little boy is so lucky his grandma gave him the whole bottle of the same supplement a week before and so I took my friend’s advice to give him accordingly.
He will normally be hyperactive with all the chatting, playing, running, etc. Not this time, it was a quiet whole Saturday. He slept through nearly the whole day and nothing interest him. His temperature held steady between 38.2-38.3c from evening till midnight until he finally broke into perspiration at 1am, a potential indicator of recovery.
He was up earlier than me this morning. I believe about 5am. He came and slept next to me and knowing it was still my sleep time, he did not disturb me. When I woke about 730am, he was already walking about, chatting and playing with his favourite toys. I knew the whole night he was on the road to recovery as he was continuously perspiring till morning.
The one thing that lingered for him was he kept complaining about dizziness the whole of Saturday and this morning. Understandably, he did not have much solid foods and meat in his system, and had more than his regular bowel movements. He in fact, threw up his vegemite bread and quite a bit of the precious E.Excel concoction at midnight yesterday.
This morning, I recalled my mother in law mentioned a long time ago that dizziness can at times be caused by wind in the tummy. While his temperature was back to normal, he complained being giddy and wanted to lie down. Just taking a guess, I followed my mother in law’s recipe for wind, which is sesame oil ginger omelette. I quickly whipped up a sesame oil and omelette for his late breakfast. I didn’t have real ginger for his omelette, so I made him a ginger juice from dried ginger in a bottle which I bought a few months back. In an hour’s time, he was already playing with my iPhone and watching his favourite TV channel.
He did empty his bowel in high frequency today, although in small quantities. Nothing seems serious as they look more like breast milk stools and the way our body’s defense mechanism is getting rid of unwanted foreign invaders.
Our body is indeed a fascinating mechanism. It is the best doctor in the world, and if we are given the right knowledge, we can assist its recovery process.
Throughout the entire incident, my little boy was not on any medications at all.

My whole family has been on E Excel products for many years and as such, our bodies are supported by a healthy foundation with proven abilities to recover on their own with E Excel products and rely on minimal or zero medications. If you are not an E. Excel consumer, please do not attempt to let your child or family members go without medications if they have high fever or are seriously ill.

Getting protected from bad haze with Honeywell
An air purifier is the only item currently last on my health-related gadget list. And today I finally got my Honey.... well.
My new sexy Koncept for my eyes
It has taken me about a year to consider buying this babe. I finally got it today! I immediately fell in love with Koncept light the first time I saw it a year ago - it's the price that has been holding me back. After much consideration knowing it's about the most practical and 'beautiful' reading light in town, I just had to buy it.

Holding on to the Science of Nutritional Immunology when illnesses are unexplainable
Last Sunday 11/09, my little 6 year old boy had a mild fever of 37.5-37.8c for a day. As his temperature went back to normal the next day, I wasn't so concerned thinking it was just one of those casual bug attacks. He didn't go to school as I wanted to monitor him for a day. Interestingly, things took a turn which I did not expect.
